Alizee in Mexico!!!

Alizee Jacotey: (born August 21, 1984) is a French singer. Born in Ajaccio, Corsica, she goes by the stage name Alizée—the feminine form of alizé, the trade wind. She was discovered by Mylène Farmer, following her winning performance in the talent show, Graines de Star,in 1999. While collaborating with Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat, Alizée released two albums—both of which were hits inside and outside of France.

Alizée entered the music business in 2000. She has since released three studio albums - first two of which were composed by Laurent Boutonnat and written by Mylène Farmer. Her first album was Gourmandises, which received Platinum certification within three months of release. Gourmandises was a success both in France and abroad—after it had its international launch in 2001—earning Alizée the distinction of being the highest selling female French singer in 2001.[The album featured her most successful single "Moi... Lolita" which reached number one in several countries in Europe and East Asia. The marketing campaign around the single affixed Alizée's image as that of a seductive lolita. Gourmandises was followed by a second studio album, Mes Courants Électriques in 2003, which was also quite successful, though not as big a hit as Alizée's debut album. Following its release, Alizée toured France during the fall of 2003, performing in 43 concerts throughout France, along with Belgium and Switzerland.

Alizée married fellow French singer Jérémy Chatelain in late 2003. Since her marriage she took a break from singing, but returned with a new album, titled Psychédélices on December 3, 2007

Alizee Jacotey made her concert tour of Mexico in july, it started on tuesday 20., Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. 4 concerts in 5 days. That is work. Then finish up with a 5th concert on Wednesday.

It is just great to have Alizee back. I know if Alizee can enjoy herself on stage, then we can too. Have fun with it Alizee. Looking forward to all the clips that will be coming in!!!....

Mexico and the Olympic Games...

Mexico has sent athletes to compete in Summer Games since the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris, France with the sports of athletics and boxing producing a large number of the country’s Olympic medals.

Flyweight boxer Francisco Cabañas and small-bore rifle shooter Gustavo Huet, both won silver medals at the 1932 Games in Los Angeles, United States, to become Mexico’s first individual Olympic medallists and Mexico upholds a proud tradition of winning at least one medal at every single Summer Games it has competed at since then. Show jumper Humberto Mariles Cortés became the country’s first individual Olympic champion when he and mount Arete claimed gold at the 1948 Games in London, England. He was also part of Mexico’s successful trio in the team event along with Rubén Uriza and Alberto Valdes Lacarra to make it double gold in London.

As the host of the Games in Mexico City in 1968, the country enjoyed its most successful medal return, winning nine in total, including a record three golds. Boxers Ricardo Delgado and Antonio Roldan and swimmer Felipe Muñoz all became Olympic champions in their home country. At the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, Mexico enjoyed its only one-two in an Olympic event, the men’s 20km walk, when Ernesto Canto finished just ahead of Raúl González. González made up for the disappointment later in the Games by claiming gold in the 50km walk.

Despite the proud, long unbroken run of Olympic medals for Mexico, Olympic champions have become rarer in recent years. Indeed, weightlifter Soraya Jimenez, who won gold in the women’s 58kg category at the 2000 Games in Sydney, Australia, is the country’s only gold medallist from the last five Summer Games.

Alizee in Mexico..first time in America

In March 2008 Alizée visited México for the first time in a short promotional tour, on March 5 she was supposed to hold her second ever public autograph session of her career but it was cancelled due to problems with the store's security, Alizée held an improvised press conference to apologise with Mexico and all her fans as well as stating it was not her fault. Sony BMG México also released and statement saying it was not Alizée's fault, and it was the store who had problems with the security and they didn't expect so many people, fences were broken and kids were in danger. Alizée also promised to mend this by having another autograph session by the time she visits the country later this year. She also stated that her tour will start on May 18 in Moscow, followed by concerts in México and then France. She also commented that piracy in music has two sides "one good" and "one bad" saying that sometimes it's good because her music reaches places that she never thought to reach. And I can´t say nothing about this, ´cos it´s a big problem, but well I have to say...I can´t believe! she was here, and it´s not the last time...

" Du bist liebt!! "...

I´m still thinking in all...Everything is comming to quick, I opened my eyes and I was in Bühl, Freiburg, Baden-Baden ...and finally in Paris, I have a lot to say, a lot to think, a lot to forget, and right now I´m thinking in all these things...the last time (it means two months maybe) I´ve lived the best time of my life, I´m working in the company that I want,  I hear good news lately, and FAG was the door to live all this...you don´t know your limits until you are on the way, but maybe this is not the time to write about this...

Well, Paris was the best City in wich I´ve ever been, in regard to the places to visit, and the history, it´s (I think so) the dream of a lot of people, also by in Paris there´s a lot of garbage, and the people wants to speak just frech!! it´s cool!! but not for a city like Paris!!! this is a city with more than 30 million of visitors per year!! uncredible!! if you want to improve your statistics you should not to say: "..no man I don´t speak english...frech.." , it would not be so serius, but when you try to have a room in Paris, then it´s complicated..and so it was with us!!...jajajajajaa...funny!!, but fortunately the gay did not call the police...jejejee....And Basel will be a perfect choice to visit, ...yeah you know it!! "The European soccer championship", I was very happy in Basel, well, I have to say that the lenguage was my concern, after visit Paris, really you have to think more in the lenguage of the City where you want to go...really....so,  Basel it´s a pretty city, I spoke in german and I was like at home..., this experience was just a little part of the things that I want to do...well finally I have to say (but surely some will don´t understand, only you) "I saw that image in my mind, and I did not know that this would be real..."du bist liebt!!" was the fuel, and Brasil was the Problem, ´cos the lost soul is there...
